National Teacher as Artmaker Symposium 2016

Category: Conferences & Events Product Code: TAP 2016
Manufacturer: Dimensions: -
   Weight: -
$0.00 AUD
Product description:

TAP2016 is opening the critical discourse and dialogue for artist teachers in Australia through a national partnership with Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia.

This National Symposium brings together artist teachers from Melbourne and Perth to discuss their practice based methodologies underpinning their identities as artist, teacher and artist teacher. Do these roles overlap? Is the actual day to day work of each very different? The context, audience and purpose dramatically shifts away from you, to your artist students and to other artists in each role. How do we live and work in this entangled and often liminal space?

Artist teachers include: Kathryn Coleman, Gina Grant, Julia Morris, Jon Cattapan, Sue Girak, Lisa Radford, Luke Sinclair, Alice Fennessy, Alison Blackwell and Wes Imms.
